Moving from Middle School to High School is experienced each year by student athletes. Recognizing that this time of transition evokes a wide variety of emotions, behaviors, and concerns, E.S.P.A.’s has implemented a Summer Football Feeder Program. Participating in this summer program gives students a head start on their high school football careers.
E.S.P.A. realizes that leadership development is essential for society, as today's young men will be tomorrow's leaders. Determination, loyalty, and self-discipline are considered some of the attributes of effective leaders. These are the qualities that the ideal E.S.P.A. football player possesses. In addition to exposure to sports and encouraging regular physical activity, E.S.P.A. works with the young men to instill leadership, moral, practical, and emotional responsibility. The players learn and practice the tools they need to make sound, thoughtful decisions, to recognize and evaluate their choices, and develop respect for themselves and their team mates. There will be two teams per grade level, which will be divided evenly based on ability. On the first day of practice students should wear shorts and t-shirts suitable for practice.
